The IEEE TU Chemnitz Student Branch successfully organized its Volunteer Welcome Meeting on 22 May 2026 at TU Chemnitz, welcoming newly joined volunteers to the IEEE community.
The onboarding session introduced participants to the IEEE ecosystem and highlighted the opportunities available through its various organizational units. It also provided an opportunity for new volunteers to connect with IEEE leaders and fellow members while learning how they can contribute to future activities.
The session included presentations about:

- IEEE Germany Section and IEEE Young Professionals Germany – Tanvir Islam
- IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) – Oumayma Kahouli
The IEEE TU Chemnitz Student Branch looks forward to working with its new volunteers and supporting them as they contribute to future events, technical initiatives, and community building activities.
