Prof. Surinder Singh received his B.Tech. Degree from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar in 1997 and M.Tech. Degree from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana in 2003. He has received a Ph.D. degree from Thaper University, Patiala, India, in 2007. He is senior member of IEEE, member of International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE). His fields of interest are optical amplifiers, sensors, and antenna for
broadband communication systems & networks. He is Dean (R&C) at SLIET Longowal Punjab India. His field of interest is optical fibre communication &
networks, antenna, and optical sensor design. He has around 216 research papers out of which 112 are in SCI international journals with Thomson Reuter impact factor-He is has handled more than 12 R & D national & international sponsored projects and published patents. His name is also published in 2% Scientists of world by Stanford University, USA (2020, 2021, 2022). His current research includes bio sensing research, biotelemetry, bio-antennas, Photonics communication, sensor designing and development.
